Vision: Alternating Rhythm

Okay, I have to be honest, I hated the prompt this week. All that came to mind with that prompt was macro photography and patterns in black and white. Neither of those are very exciting to me. I much prefer photographing people, but perhaps going forward I will try to make each prompt a photograph of a person.

Now that that's out of the way, this photo is actually 5 photos put together. It's what's called high dynamic range or HDR. It's a technique used to get the shadows all the way to the brightest parts in proper exposure. I liked the way the light was pouring inside of this barn, not only from the doorway, but from between the boards of the wall.

I don't have a whole lot to say on this one, but here are some other photos that were taken this week. It was time for a haircut! 

I'm learning lately that my favorite type of photography is candid "day in the life" type of photos. It shows the beauty in the every day.
