Now before you call the authorities on me for posting a picture of my son for the "forsaken" prompt, let me explain to you why. The last couple of weeks, the flu ran through our house. I had it last week and our poor little guy had it this week. So my photo for the week is my son with the "forsaken" flu (see what I did there?).
It's never fun when little kids are sick, especially when they can't tell you how bad they feel. They just look so sad and you can tell they aren't feeling like themselves. I don't think he felt forsaken because he was very well taken care of, as he always is. I got to stay home with him a couple of days this week and love on him as his he got to feeling better, this was twofold because then I got to continue getting over the flu myself.
Like most sick kids, he wasn't sleeping too well through the night and only wanted mommy. After a hard night for him and my wife, I got to stay home with him and he slept until 11...yeah 11! Of course I took this opportunity to snap plenty of photos of him sleeping with his mouth wide open while he was infected with this forsaken flu.
No one likes to remember being sick, but I think I'm going to enjoy capturing these little moments as he gets older.
HERE ARE SOME OTHER PHOTOS FROM THE WEEK
Before he got sick, we got to play outside! He LOVES to play outside.
This photo may not be eye catching or all that exciting, but I love the sense of wonder on his face as he looks at the lights.
He loves lights. He really like flashlights, and a flash light that has different colors? Well, he's pretty excited about it.
That's it for this week!
